Spine & Vertebrae - Home Page
     The Human Spinal Column, often referred to as the spine, is a column of bones called vertebrae.  It protects the spinal cord.  This section features a wide variety of anatomical models.  The first three pages contain anatomical models of the human spinal column.  The next three present the vertebrae.  Many of the models present them the vertebrae in sets: the cervical spinal column vertebrae, the thoracic spinal column vertebrae and the lumbar spinal column vertebrae.  Both sets of pages begin with the most simple models. As you proceed through them, the models generally more detailed and/or specialized.
